You still can seem unable to come to terms with the fact that everything you told me about your union activities would have NEVER HAPPENED if not for the rule of law born out of legislation passed decades ago. Now you tell me given that your national president's members were so disinterested in those proceedings or flat out too damn lazy to even vote on a new contract that he clearly lacked the firepower to continue negotiating, what else could he do? His power comes in the from of a unified mindset among his members which was at that point clearly lacking. It was either take the deal on the table or risk a fracturing of an already very fragile union.

If you were paying attention you might have noticed what happened last fall regarding Spencer Patton's efforts to organize Fedex Ground contractors into a single bargaining unit. Seeing what the other FXG contractors did to that poor guy makes me glad I'm no longer one.

I think if you weren’t so interested in hearing yourself talk, even though you’re saying nothing you would’ve realize I explained very nicely to you that I understand completely. The government involvement in union activities is.. At one point it was a blessing and now it’s a curse similar to almost anything that happens when you get involved with government did you pay attention to that or are you just like I said want to hear yourself talk? The reasoning behind our former presidents decision making was a lot more complicated Then you make it, at the time it may, or may not have been the right decision, but leading up to that there was much that could’ve been done to interest the members but since you’re not a teamster, it’s really not your business so I won’t go into it. About once a month I go to our state capital and deal with our state legislators on behalf of labor issues. The majority of them are nothing more than money whores who will sell you out or promise you something, and then turn around and do the opposite. And most of them are in the pocket of my business doesn’t matter which side of the aisle they’re on. Labors time could be sent so much better if we didn’t have to be involved with the government.

So does Satan
Initially I had no problem with this statement. Pretty much a cliche that I have heard often over the years and on the surface seems to make sense.

I was drawn back to it this morning, I am conflicted in spirit by it today. I am not sure about it today.

I am going to take a break from this thread today and ponder this dissonance in my spirit with God today. Hoping for guidance about it. I will resume participation in this thread tomorrow sometime.

I will not be going to the Bible for guidance, I will be going to God.

Carry on and have a good day!

If you reject the Bible then who is the God you worship?

The Bible is God's word and how he speaks to us.

I agree, and if you read his post, you will see he has replaced his former Christianity or religiosity with government. If he thinks he was disappointed before the disappointment will even be greater now.

If Satan is s o bad,why did your God create him? Being omnipotent amnd stuff your God would have known how it would wind up .
Satan cant be that bad,as according to the Goatherders book he was a creation of God
Yeah, if you think that’s bad, don’t read the book of Job you’ll have a conniption. Let’s just say it’s complicated.

No voices in my head. More feelings.
So the Holy Spirit communicates by "some feelings" or " more feelings" or "all feelings"? Which is it, or is there more?
Which is why you need to make sure they agree with Scripture and not just what I want to believe.
So, I need to have a "good feeling" when I come to a conclusion about what the Bible says and that will assure me that it is right? And credit that"feeling" as direct communication from the Holy Spirit that is personally in me?

IMO When a person or denomination speaks as if their understanding of the Bible is the one, true and correct one. It is a statement that is dripping with condescension.
People react to the truth in different ways.
Some repent and do the right thing. Others are offended and blame the messenger.

I see you pick and choose what you want on that site too. You claim the "law" refers to the Bible, when it you read the summary, it clearly states, and rightly I may add, that it is the law of Moses.
When speaking of the Law of Moses, that is the first five books of the Bible, correct? And does Christianity devalue these books? Or if Christianity expounds on and in some cases is in direct conflict with those five books, why would one subjugate the other?

It’s a strange world when we are certain of the lies, exaggerations and contextual deletions in our own time but insist those things did not occur in the millennia before.

I did explain. You don't seem to understand.
No you didn't.
Maybe I don't understand.
Can you answer the questions for more clarification ?

Trying to get some clarification on how what you claim happens and how it works and how you know. Thanks

The Law of Moses was done away with with Christ's death and resurrection. We can learn from what was written before, but everything that was in the Old Law that we still need to follow is in the New Testament also.

You are trying to make a simple concept complicated. Look online for articles explaining the indwelling of the Holy Spirt and you can find people who can explain it better than me. I did post a link with several sources but that wasn't good enough for you.

Not something I want to keep going in circles arguing about. Kind of off topic for this thread anyway.

I'm asking you to answer my questions.

If you make a claim when it comes to religious matters or subjects, you should be able to explain it and back it from the Bible.
If you don't or can't, how are you any different than No Integrity?

I did explain with Bible references but you ignored those. You didn't like those references like an @Integrity ?

Do you believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit? It sounds like you don't which is contrary to Scripture.

1 Corinthians 3:16

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

If you deny that then it is pointless to argue with you about it.

I'm not arguing. Nor do I deny the HS dwells in a person. How he dwells has been my position. Have you read any of my comments?

Why do you refuse to answer the questions? I seriously want to know the answer to them.
