ThanksGood luck to you

Good for you man. Us Drivers do make good money. But it's not the end all be all to having a good life. Even if you never make as much as we do, those hours are amazing. The crappiest part of this job to me is the lack of time I get to see my young daughters. Congrats!Got a job with the state. Yes i do think about it. Everything in life is a trade-off. I made my family and it's my responsibility to take care of them. You can't seriously tell me you don't think about all the time away from them that you'll never get back hasn't gotten you down a little bit. Can you?
Totally agree Gumby. I switched careers and took this job solely to take care of my family as well.Yes i do think about it. Everything in life is a trade-off. I made my family and it's my responsibility to take care of them.

It would be better for the kids yes, not for the bank account.
Very respectable sir. Mine are still in grade school. I gotta long way to go before I have to deal with that. Although the college fund I guess is dealing with it. Hopefully I can surviveAnd i got them through college with very little debt.

By the time they're old enough for college you're probably right. Colleges don't have any prestige anymore. You can't even discuss different viewpoints anymore. Welding school it isThe hell with college---send them to a trade school (if they aren't drafting kids again by then).
