They've got these cranes I guess with giant snowblowers on them that they used in ND. There are interstates you just can't have shut down. Those snowblowers go at it while plows come and pick up the scraps. There have been many winters I've seen snow piled that high. Where I'm from, that's a typical winter. They make phone poles out of fresh pine from the last year's logging exploits and they only make it a year or two. Between the snow and drunk drivers and s* drivers, you can roll down a country road and tell which areas get the most snow by the amount of poles replaced and their age. Useful for buying a house, as far as this thread, probably not so much! lol
