Science is a bit more exact than you are giving it credit for.
Why not just say you don’t care and economic prosperity is more important?

The last 50 years of exact climate science predictions consists primarily of imminent unavoidable catastrophic disasters that never came anywhere close to happening.

I don't know where the problem lies. They collect the data and draw conclusions from it and make predictions that don't come true. Maybe the data is bad. Maybe the analyses are flawed. Maybe they don't know how to interpret the results. Beats me but there's a problem in one or more of those areas.

Alrighty, tell us how they've changed the entire logistics industry. Go ahead. We're waiting. And take Jeff's schlong out of your mouth before you post.

You astound me. Amazon is rewriting the "rules" of logistics, and yet you act like nothing has happened. Your schlong has always been in Fred's mouth or nether regions, sir, and to pretend Amazon isn't changing the entire game is Ostrich 101, which is entirely consistent with MEM.

Leasing aircraft fleets, using personal vehicle contractors (Amazon Flex), distributing and delivering your entire line of products without outside vendors, drones (on the way), etc, etc.

Those are just a few, Bozo.

There have been repeated drastic periods of warming and cooling over the last few million years. You and your type are going into a panic over a few years' worth of temperature variations. And when your only argument is "your not smart if you don't agree" shows just how much of a freakin' partisan hack you are being about this.

Here's the deal, Mr. Anti-Science. Nobody denies that the Earth has gone through heating and cooling periods. The problem with your wet paper bag argument is that these cycles take tens of thousands of years, not 200 or so. None of you seem willing to acknowledge this FACT.

Bingo. Burning fossil fuels at a never before seen rate as well as a planet never before populated with so many people something's got to give.

You think contracting out deliveries is game changing? ROTFLMAO!!

And in the context of tens of thousands of years, what happens in an isolated period of 200 is meaningless, which is why the predictions never pan out.

You factless dope.

Like SARS, Covid 19 is a crossover virus that mutated (evolved) so it could also infect humans.
Please explain what it has to do with Climate Change.
But more to your point, nature has a way of evening out imbalances. Too many people? Along comes a virus that's particularly acute where people are crowded together.

Except for the willfully ignorant, it is obvious that predictions ARE playing out. Record setting massive hurricanes and typhoons are happening every year now. 500 and 1000 year floods and storms are occurring every couple of years The antarctic had temps as high as temps in San Diego last week. The arctic ocean ice is thinner than ever measured, with a steady decrease in average area covered.Glacier National Park has only 18% of the glacial coverage it has had for 10,000 years. They think that just because the earth has had temp swing in the past, that it won't be a problem now. They think that spending a few trillion now to get off carbon is stupid , because we aren't 100% certain it will save 100s of trillions in the future

For the stupid, an average decrease in area covered doesn't mean that every year the area will decrease, but over time, the average area covered by ice is shrinking . The climate change deniers have no clue as to how a greenhouse works, or what a tipping point is. They don't understand that the ocean is a massive heat sink that is slowly warming while the planet absorbs more and more solar heat. And now that ocean temps have risen, the air is warming, and the oceans will continue to absorb most of the heat, but oceans drive the weather, and the ignorant just don't understand. They believe everything will be fine, because after all, the plant was warm in the past. But they ignore that the greenhouse gases at the level they are now have never existed since the dawn of man.

And just because some of the most dire predictions from outliers in the science haven't happened as predicted, the believe that they can claim none of the predictions have happened. And the stupidest say that because there is disagreement over how fast changes will occur, or how serious the changes will be, or how long we have to make changes to slow the increase, that none of it is true.

I don't know, but I can make some money betting a liberal will blame it on climate change.

It may be related, maybe not. But the spread of mosquito borne diseases IS climate change related as more and more mosquitoes can overwinter in more and more of the country as areas are exposed to more and more frost free days, or no longer have winter temps low enough to kill most mosquitoes.

And saying that 200 years of rising temps means nothing in the context of tens of thousand of years means nothing might be correct IF you are dumb enough to ignore the reason for the rise. Rise due to volcanoes spewing greenhouse gases for a brief period that affect weather for a few years is not the same as a constant steady rise over a couple hundred years. Taking carbon out of the soil and ADDING it to the natural emissions is altering the balance and while the oceans can absorb a massive amount of CO2, they can't absorb it as fast as we are producing it, obviously. If the oceans could absorb it, the CO2 levels would no be increasing.

First off Arctic ice has increased recently, not decreased. Second it's summer in Antarctica, and San Diego has mild but cool weather in the winter. True that it's a higher temp than previously recorded, but we've only been recording temps there a short while. And the Pacific goes through El Nino and La Nina phases as well as an intermediate phase. It's not just doing one particular thing. And we just came out of a long stretch with very little hurricane activity. And there have been very intense hurricanes in the past too. And then there's the solar cycles with sunspot activity that has a huge influence on our weather. We also had very hot temps in the 1930's. Didn't go up in a straight line from then heat wise. The truth is the weather is made up of many moving parts that can't be boiled down to just man made climate change. I'll take it all more seriously when liberals don't use it as an excuse to enact socialism. For some reason they always tie saving the planet to all of these social programs we don't have the money for. Fix the weather if it's broken(if you can). But leave what works in the economy alone.

Dude I grew up in Florida. Mosquito country. The one time a year that we could enjoy being outside without getting eat up was during Florida's very mild winter. Which doesn't even compare to States just above it. You may think the sky is falling but it isn't.
