Sitting in my recliner with my feet by the fire. Doorbell rings so I have to get up to answer. UPS left a parcel for me and didn't wait for their Christmas tip.
Feeling a little guilty now that I didn't shovel the walkway.

I feel bad that you're such a miserable human being.I feel bad for all of you.
This my 3rd peak of retirement......feel bad for those in the Big BrownHole.
Isn't the point of delivering on Saturdays, to lighten the loads for the following Monday? Why would some small hubs run all of Monday's volume, on a Saturday?
Thank you UPS, for being paid time and a half today, but now what are we going to do Monday?
I also said no. But I only had a few available hours left. I'm getting a good laugh out of the newbies not wanting to work a 6th day, they will also be crying next month when they are working no days.
I realize people don't want to work 6 days but you gotta think about the future

Working 6 days is not exactly thinking about the future.
In typical UPS fashion, working 6 days/wk for a "couple weeks" will soon lead to 6 days/wk fulltime.
I have no doubt about that. I was just saying if I was low on the seniority list, I would be scooping the money up while I could.

Received this Diad message yesterday.
Politely responded NO. Have already given then 22 hours behind the wheel this week and didn't think I had anymore in me.
A couple hours later I got a text message on my phone asking the same thing. Guess nobody was volunteering.
