The 270’s were awful
We have two left.

The twin screws were much nicer. We had single and twins that were very close by number and the twins shifted and drove so much better than the single axles.
Have only seen one twin screw old International and it was a 269. I drove an old 269 for close to three years and it was a crappy ride, but had a lot of power and could get a fully loaded set up to speed on a highway on ramp easily.

Dear God I remember seeing those in our yard. Poor :censored2:er you're showing your age now. No one in our feeder dept has ever drove one of those them guys are long gone.
When I came to feeders the first time in. 2000 , we had a few , along with the MH Mack’s,,, Sr guys had all the newer model CH Mack’s

In the old days we drove GMC Astros.
The rivets were popping out of the cab.
The only thing "air ride" was the seat.

...and you all think you had/have it tough.
