Having to know the delivery areas and changing pages every time you crossed over to a new one.

Using multiple clipboards and switching around.

Running out of carbon paper.
Sorting through the load. You had no idea of what stops you had or how many pieces.

an absolute *ing disgrace of a human being.
so after you scan the package, BIG ARROW DOWN and then ENTER ?
The DIAD follows a logic chain.

Package scanned, stop info entered (i.e. consignee, room, floor), big arrow down.

This gets the package sheeted, or attached to the stop. You can add more, or an infonotice if non-delivery.

Now you select what the status of the package will be for the stop. Press deliver, RelNumber or CIR, then select a release location. If a signature is required, then the DIAD will not allow you to continue without obtaining a signature.

Press ✔️. Stop complete.

Eventually you will be able to do this blindfolded in 5 seconds using only the buttons (yellow toggle button comes in handy).

Not enough of the right kind of training. I guarantee the OP's Sup saw time was getting late and took over diad control.

What they need is a training diad, that they can go to class with and learn, just like we used to go to 3 day sheet writing school.

Who went to 3 Day sheet writing school

Must be a Jersey thing

Talk about action packed! Sheet writing school was crazy!

The Clarksville training film was classic. He had like 50 stops in the back and every customer was home! Lol
