Government shut DOWN

The administration is seeking 7,000,000+ to sign up for Obamacare on the exchanges. A London newspaper reported Wednsday that only 51,000 had signed up so far

Well that sounds like good news for you. As for people making fun of the website issues... those things are common and work themselves out in fast enough order, no one is immune to that.

Over $400,000,000 spent and 3 years to get it right hardly qualifies as common.

It's downright Communistical. You lost, and if the GOP had set-up the site, you'd be giving them a pass. Let's talk about Mitch McConnell's $2.1B pork for the dam and lock project, OK? Kind of looks like a payoff.

that will ultimately cause the Dollar to collapse and create a worldwide depression.

The collapse of the dollar is the ONLY way a one world currency will happen. Look at Spain and Greece and the adjustments to those economies the EU has made recently.

Looking over the last several thousand years the United States of America is a young country when one examines world history.

If we all don't think this could not happen to the U.S.A. we are fooling ourselves. The question is not if it will happen but when the dollar comes crashing down around us.

I would like to think we have 50 more years but I doubt it. The debt clock it is interesting to time travel, especially in the past 15 years. The end game is the same whether a D or R has the reigns of power.

Time will tell it always does.

OK, you're getting into black helicopter territory. The one world business won't happen for the same reason the Soviet Union collapsed: nationalism.

Been listening to Glenn again, eh? The "end of times" crap makes Beck big bucks, along with the rest of his schtick. A crash of our currency system (BUY GOLD NOW!!), and erosion of Second Amendment rights (BUY GUNS NOW!!), along with the usual crap about Nazis, Socialism, and breadlines (BUY DEHYDRATED FOOD AND BUILD A BUNKER NOW!!), Oh, I can't forget the "end of times is near" (COME TO JESUS NOW!!) and all the rest of the garbage. You dummies on the Right eat it up, and ask for more.

Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, and all the rest of them are cashing-in big time on your ignorance. Notice I didn't say "stupid", but "ignorance". You can hide in your cave and pretend the world around you isn't changing all day long. Sorry, Sniper, but we can't go back to the days of Howdy Doody and Lassie. Republicans can't seem to evolve, but, of course, you can't, because you were created ignorant. That explains it. God made you that way.

Not thrilled with McConnell, but you forget one thing. The Repubs won control of the House in 2010, and the House controls the purse strings. Winning the Predidency doesn't give Obama complete control of the gov't. It's called checks and balances. Every time you say we won, you lost you are demonstrating a lack of understanding of how things work. It's what the Dems count on as they court your vote. If you truly understood how things work then you'd know that the Dems are promising, and have been for decades, things they can't possibly deliver on but it's what you want to hear.

That's cool. Helicopter's whether black, brown or olive drab have one thing to fear. The UAV gliding at 30k feet and that today is not science fiction.
My old flip phone reminds me of the communicator on Star Trek. Fact or fiction? :wink2:

OK, so the Republicans deliver things the Democrats can't, like unnecessary wars, pork defense contracts, and dams and locks for KY Congressmen that look like an owl with glasses. Got it. Oh, McConnell is consistently ranked one of the most corrupt members of Congress.

I seem to recall it was Democrats who got us into Korea and Vietnam.

Ike sent advisers well before Kennedy. The "Red Scare" has always been a GOP scare tactic. Korea was more of an outgrowth of the fear of Red Chinese expansion after the Chinese Revolution in 1949. Couldn't have Mao running the world, now could we?

But it was the drummed up Gulf of Tonkin incident that Johnson used to escalate our involvement.

Right. Nixon vs. Johnson? Which one will go down in history as the worst criminal to have ever held the office? I rest my case.

Why neither will get that distinction...
