Union Leadership- Huge Nads!

The current Tues-Sat "drivers" will be protected as RPCDs even after the transition of all RPCD routes to M-friend.

The "jobs" will not be protected and will not count towards the "protected jobs." Those jobs will eventually be lost via attrition.

That was said by Denis T, directly, in Minneapolis to the supplemental committees.

HOLY :censored2: BATMAN! Now we see why the company has allowed Mondays to become total :censored2: shows!

BUG..........

Browned out's interpretation of what is written is what a number of us have been saying since the very first day details were released!! To further complicate the issue is the fact its written that RPCD's will not work weekends. What happens when the company holds back AND advances loads to show more volume for Saturdays and Sundays? The company will show cause to hire even more 22.4's thus eroding the 25% "limit."

RPCDs are not scheduled on Saturday per the contract so th,e "no RPCD shall be laid off while a 22.4 works inside the building," is not applicable!

Exactly and 22.4 hybrids are not scheduled at all on Mondays therefore there is no limit on Monday as to the amount of RPCDs that can and will be laid off due to the Saturday and Sunday clean out. No 22.4s will be working in the building or on the road on Mondays. Massive layoffs on Mondays.

@Benben

With all due respect;

The contract hasn't been ratified by the membership yet.

We haven't even seen the supplements yet.

All this speculation.... is just an exercise in futility.... at this point.

To be honest i bet 50% of the drivers in my building would take that 3 day weekend, a bunch cry now if they have to work a 5 day week.

Hats off to the leadership! They stood firm and negotiated a whopping 2.2 percent raise! Way to get us some of those record profits!
I really wish we could have got you a 1.25 average a year in this contract not including the huge pension plus health and welfare increases, as well as 15 an hour for new hires and a 3 dollar additional catch up raise for all part timers and double time after 9.5 hours. Sorry we couldn't get you this.

as well as 15 an hour for new hires

$15 an hour, eh? Is the "Poverty Wages for Part-Timers" section wrong, then?

Why ?

Because they couldn't get your job back ?

Drug addicts.... always make excuses, or criticize others for their short comings.
No. Because they are going to roll over and sign on to this piece of garbage contract. I would think a “BigUnionGuy” like yourself would know that.

Unless you’re just one of those union guys bought off by the company...

You don't work at UPS anymore....

Remember ?

Your opinion is irrelevant.

Every package car driver is red circled. So this means the company cant go below the number that is in place as of August 1st. The 22.4 will be additional. I wonder how many of you that are out there that don't comprehend this.

Every driver is red circled but every job is not. Your daddy gave up the Tues-Sat routes that would count towards the number of red circled jobs in every center because we needed :censored2: sprinkles on top of this massive sewage sundae.

For which items do you think a local rider would be successful in overriding the National Agreement?

"Any lesser conditions contained in any Supplement, Rider or Addendum shall be superseded by the conditions contained in this Master Agreement. However, except where specifically stated otherwise in the Master Agreement, nothing in this Master Agreement shall deprive any employee of any superior benefit contained in their Supplement, Rider or Addendum."
