UPS Freight situation could have been us.

Look at all of you rolling out of the TDU clown car. Seriously you guys didn’t know jack during our contract and now you are trying to tell Freight guys how to vote. Completely laughable! You guys are the reason nobody should listen to social media when deciding on a contract. You don’t give a :censored2: about our UPS Freight brothers and sisters or their families. Your just a bunch of vote no parrots without a brain in the bunch.

Funny you call others vote no parrots. What does that make you? Like besides a pusillanimous. Not everyone that voted no is TDU. But the IBT is actually justifying TDU’s existence.

The TDU is a left wing socialist labor group. They will do zero for all the employees who will be affected by this vote.

But the contract will pass, so we will all slowly return to work and normal.

It's managed by a guy, who was a Teamster for 1 year.... in 1974.

(his previous job, was at a gas station)

They don't have the power or ability, to do anything.

Other than.... "we are starting a grass roots campaign for the next contract."

About 50,000 people had it figured out by voting no, despite your bull:censored2: d-day rhetoric if they did. Anyone who thought package was ever headed this way needs to pull their head out of their ass. Package profits are climbing. The company just invested more than $10 billion into new aircraft. Anyone with a shred of common sense knows what happened, is exactly what was always going to happen. Stop pretending like there was a chance it was ever going to be anything else.

I was on the picket line in 97, don't patronize me.
There will be s strike in the future for Package and it will last a lot longer than that ONE long hard grueling week you had to endure. I was on the line in 1997 as well and this was not the contract to strike over Period. Regardless of all that if your too ignorant to learn from what’s happening in Freight tight now then that’s your problem.

Very true. How convenient for TDU to tell Teamsters to vote no and risk losing their jobs with no liability. Just like all these goofball idiot savants here on Brown Cafe that think they know freight contracts. So unbelievably crazy that people choose to believe these TDU puppets instead of their elected officials that carry all the liability and can get voted out.

Package can't even run without 705. I'm in a union with 15,000 members approximately. National Is Settled 705 isn't. If they don't get a better contract I'm voting no. So how is freight the only 1 out there. Laguna so your saying if we in 705 vote a horrible contract down they can close the doors on us. Your comparison is a joke. Here I go. I picture you as a overweight Hispanic guy who actually thinks they matter. A brown nose who people can't stand with a ugly wife. Just be honest am I right. Tdu is good national is weak

A lot of things can happen, you can get a better deal, impose the contract, close the doors or offer you less. I have said this from day one and there is always a risk. You all claim there is no risk and the company can’t run without you and that is pure stupidity.

So you and tdu will both do nothing. Nobody expects tdu to pay us they are there to educate and networking, checks and balance. I can't say for sure but if freight strike 705 will support with man power and money.

on 1 hand i stand up for what I believe in. You don't have the pedigree, it's not your fault.

Actually I do, we just got better stuff than you so we voted yes. You guys should push for unlimited retiree caps like we did. It’s ok if you don’t its not your fault. You just don’t have the brain power for that kind of thing, it is not in your pedigree.

No you don't have the pedigree. The way you use WE is proof. When you say we do you mean the 22.4 you will have doing same job for 6$ less. Or like I meant you only care about yourself and the current guys no care about the future. That is exactly why some people actually get and some people never will. I'm not sure if it's cultural or geographical or economic but seems like your OK so screw everything else

Once again your ignorance shines through. Your TDU god Ron Carey gave us a two tier driver that makes $10 dollars less an hour so the 22.4 is actually raises their rate $4 dollars. If we voted no we would have kept a lower paid driver you imbecile. TDU sucks.

I'm a 22.3 but I would go on strike for more 22.3 jobs.
22.4 will never effect me. We don't have 1 package car at cach. But I would go on strike to make sure they have none in 705
I'm at full scale but if they don't raise starting pay to a fair wage.and 13 isn't enough I would strike and support them. I got a mortgage and kids and a wife that would loose in a strike. But I'm smart enough to see the big picture I still got at least 15 years to go.

I won’t be my problem, it’ll be yours. I’m gone in 4 1/2 years, actually it’s 51 months. I was smart enough to know that at some point, the union and the people paid to represent us would choose the company over its members. Kind of like you did, when you lied and spit d-day rhetoric when you knew nothing about that was ever factual. What’s worse, is you stand by that even after the fact. You’re a bigger piece of trash than even I originally thought.

Don’t worry tho. UPS isn’t my retirement, i was smarter than to let you and your gutless buddies dictate my retirement. Enjoy your stay, and strike away. I’ll be in Myrtle with a beer cheering the real members on, I may even go find me a picket line.
