Word is negotiations are not going good at all.... that ups can’t afford what the teamsters are asking for..

Credible source?? I understand it but I hate how Wall Street drives all this!! It's never enough!!

I know the flaps were bad but there were worse things. In the late 60's when OSHA wasn't as powerful, the company would have a person climb up into the belts to break up pkg jams. Seeing an employee hanging by his arm with it caught between the underside of the belt and a roller was a lot worse.

Belt surfing was close to being an Olympic sport

Yea, these "negotiations" will be taking this place in San Diego, California this week, instead of Fort Lauderdale, Florida where they have been meeting previously.

....another reasonably priced and affordable, centrally located venue???

That little tidbit was not included in the link you provided.

Perfect weather and lots of golf

What’s not to love

There's no way out except adopt a 40 IQ when you walk thru the office door.
I remember one older driver who wasted a minimum of 20 minutes going in circles with management when asked about his "overallowed".
The management all had blood red faces by the time they finally yelled at him to "just go to work"!

That is too good! I would love to hear that conversation so i can adopt some of those strategies myself
