Put the same amount of money that goes into the pension plan into my 401k . You would be way ahead of the game.

At my building they have created more Art. 22.3 Midnight loader/ preload jobs. Can't find anyone to work crappy jobs for crappy pay.

Ups saves (pension) money over those 5 years. Uses savings for pay and benefits. Possibly retaining part timers. If a part timer quits before 5 years and not vested, the money stays in pension unused by that employee.

So in this case, if you’re in a surplus now, how would you divide the economic proposal?

Hard to say without seeing the actual numbers but our pension needs a lot more help than our healthcare st the moment.

I make $34.60/hr. and I have friends that work the sort aisle making $35.65/hr.

$35/hr to deliver pkgs is too high.

$35/hr to load pkgs would be absurd.
