I threw those, old grievances, Warning letters,old clipboard and paper al in the garbage when i retired. I kept my jackets,hats and Long Service Plaques. eveerything else was garbage

Other old timers told me they took a cut in pay to go driving from PT. Until they hit top rate after 90 days.

Yep 07/08 was my first contract to vote on. They started really early and wanted that

That would have been prior to 1979. After 1979, it was a 1 year progression. (like @oldngray)
After 1990.... is when this language was added to Article 41.
"Part-time employees on the payroll as of July 31, 1990 who subsequently are promoted to full-time employment will be
paid their current wage rate until such time as the calculated progression rate exceeds that rate. The transfer date will
become his/her full-time start date for purposes of applying the above progression."
